Welcome to my little repository of Yamaha FS1R patches.

The links below allow you to download Yamaha FS1R patch libraries, officially the "most powerful FM synthesizer on the planet" :-)

This little slimline beast can produce the most amazing sounds from the vintage DX7-style classics to ethereal, impossible to describe evolving sound universes. Problem is, anybody wishing to get deep into its programming can spend many long nights with the myriad of parameters...  :-)

The following info is available:

• The readme document (in MS Word format) that came with the patch banks
• The large patch bank ZIP archive, which is on the bonus disks given with the FS1R in the UK (about 250 Kbytes)
• For Cakewalk users, an INS file with all FS1R factory preset banks.

NOTE: For decent editing, either shareware FS1R librarians/editors or ideally SoundDiver is required.
