Welcome to the area dedicated to Roland JV1010.

This powerful little monster is the cost-effective compressed version of the JV2080, which for years and years set the standard for studio sound modules. Their new incarnations from the XV family are doing that nowadays...

The JV1010 even with its preset sound banks is capable of creating so many new sounds, that the net is swarming with thousands of add-on user patch banks.

It will take you ages just to go through the sounds and pick those that you find suitable for your projects.

Collected archives are below:

• Patch bank sets from the net (ZIP archiev of about 120 Kbytes)
• More patches in a ZIP (about 640 Kbytes!)
• And even more, also in ZIP format (about 780 Kbytes!)
• Very interesting small set from the defunct Lil'Chips Roland website (23 Kbytes)

Note: in order to browse, download into the JV module and/or edit the patches, it is strongly recommended the use of something like SoundDiver - otherwise the complex settings may become daunting.

Still, many of the sets can be downloaded as SysEx dumps, so can be tried as they are, without editing.
